These gluten-free pizza stuffed bell peppers taste great instead of regular pizza and are full of healthy nutrients from the bell peppers. They are a healthy and filling way to start a meal or party.
Ingredients:
- 4 large bell peppers, halved and seeded
- 1 cup gluten-free marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni gluten-free
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Warm the oven up to 190C 375F
Put the cut side of the bell pepper halves in a baking dish
Put the same amount of marinara sauce into each half of the pepper
Shred mozzarella cheese, slice pepperoni, and add black olives on top
Add pepper and salt to taste
For 20 to 25 minutes, or until the peppers are soft and the cheese is melted and bubbly, bake in an oven that has already been heated
Before serving, top with chopped fresh basil
